Facebook Settings

Overview

Facebook integration allows you to post to Facebook pages. You can optionally include a link URL in your posts.

Properties

`post_type`

Value	Description
`post`	A normal Page post. This is the default
`story`	A Facebook story. Requires at least one attachment, and each attachment publishes as its own story

`text_format_preset_id`

Facebook lets a short text-only post render on a coloured or illustrated background. Pass the preset ID to use one.

Constraints, all enforced by Facebook rather than Postiz:

Text only. A post with media ignores the preset.
Pages only.
130 characters maximum. Longer text drops the background.

Facebook publishes no API to enumerate the presets, so Postiz ships a fixed catalogue of them. Pick one in the app to find the ID you want, then reuse that ID over the API.

Notes

The url field is optional and creates a link preview in the post
If posting with images, Facebook will display them as attachments
Video uploads are also supported
