Team members
Invite people into your organisation and set what they can do
Where: Settings, Teams
Availability: Postiz Cloud, Team plan and above. Self-hosted installs have it on every install.
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| User | Work with channels and posts |
| Admin | The above, plus manage members and organisation settings |
| Super Admin | Everything, including billing |
You can only manage members below your own level, so an Admin cannot remove a Super Admin.
Inviting someone
Add Member
Enter their email and pick a role.
Choose how to deliver it
Send invitation via email? either mails them the link or gives you the link to send yourself. The second is useful when email delivery is unreliable, or when you want to send it through Slack.
They accept
The invite link is time limited. If it expires, send a new one.
Removing someone
Remove on the member row. They lose access immediately. Posts and channels they created stay with the organisation, since everything belongs to the organisation rather than to a person.
Working with clients rather than colleagues
Team members are for people who work in your Postiz. For clients, two lighter options are usually better:
- Invite links let a client connect their own account without having a Postiz account at all.
- Preview links let a client review and comment on specific posts without seeing anything else.
Neither consumes a seat.
On Postiz Cloud: downgrading to a plan without team members disables the other members of your organisation rather than deleting them. Upgrading again restores them. See Downgrades.
